As a South African born to Lebanese immigrants, travel has always been ingrained in Janine's entrepreneurial path. After completing her studies in travel and tourism in South Africa, Janine's father, a vegetable trader, gave her an ultimatum: if she didn’t find a job within a month, she would work for him in the family business.
That's when Janine found her first travel agent job. She took it simply because she didn't want to go back home.

Janine has spent the last 20 years in the Travel Industry, working in global multinational businesses. Throughout the course of her career, she has had incredible opportunities to work across multiple sectors.
Along with her Co-Founder, Chanti, Janine started Travel Creators at the height of the pandemic in 2021. At that time, thousands in the travel industry were being impacted due to COVID. Before COVID, travel was a bureaucratic, antiquated and fragmented industry, struggling to inspire the next generation of travelers.
Travel Creators is here to reimagine the future of travel.
About Travel Creators
Travel Creators is a travel marketplace empowering and enabling creators to monetize and inspire the next generation of travelers. Rather than the "cookie cutter" trip suggestions of the past, their creators showcase an authentic and curated travel experience.
Travel Creators sources influencers who are travel "super fans." The target creator is seeking a way to share their travels with their audience and monetize their content. Travelers are inspired by these vetted creators who curate authentic travel experiences.

Travel Creators launched their BETA platform during the fall of 2021. Since then, they have already quoted over $5 million in travel. They have accumulated over 1500 users, with zero acquisition costs. Their growth has been entirely organic.
